Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the PDF Scanner mobile application and related services. By using PDF Scanner, you agree to these Terms.

1. The service

PDF Scanner provides tools for capturing documents, importing images, creating and editing PDFs, extracting text, converting files, adding signatures or watermarks, and sharing documents. Features may change as we improve the app.

2. Eligibility and acceptable use

You may use the service only in compliance with applicable laws. You are responsible for having the right to scan, store, edit, convert, and share every document or image you process. Do not use the service to infringe another person’s rights, create fraudulent documents, distribute unlawful content, or interfere with the operation of the app.

3. Your content

You retain ownership of documents, images, text, signatures, and other materials you process through the app. You grant us only the limited permissions needed to provide the features you request. You are responsible for reviewing exported files before relying on or sharing them.

4. Accuracy and important documents

Scanning, OCR, translation, conversion, and compression may produce inaccurate or incomplete results. PDF Scanner is a productivity tool, not a substitute for professional review. Verify legal, financial, medical, identity, or regulatory documents before submitting or relying on them.

5. Intellectual property

The app, its design, software, branding, and original content are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable right to use the app.

6. Availability and disclaimers

The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by law, we do not guarantee that the service will always be available, error-free, secure, or suitable for a particular purpose. You should maintain your own backups of important documents.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PDF Scanner and its providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, or business resulting from your use of the service.

8. Changes and termination

We may update these Terms when the service or applicable requirements change. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms. You may stop using the app at any time. We may suspend access when reasonably necessary to protect the service or comply with law.
